I used a plugin called PhotoXhibit (which uses another plugin called Thichbox) for this post. Clicking on an image should bring up a Java window. You can either hit esacape or click on the photo to make it disappear, or click on the left or right side of the window to go to the previous or next photo. If anyone would like a tutorial on how to use this powerful plugin let me know, and I can type something up!
Oh, I also used a tool called more, which is why you won’t see any images unless you click the more link below or the title of the post. This brings you to the single post page, which is also where you go to comment on a post. This is a nice tool if you have a lot of photos or video or any files that are large and you don’t want to make visitors wait for them load every time they login. Again, I would be happy to walk anyone through how to add this to a post. (more…)

Hi Sam,
Googling HCoL this afternoon and found your blog site listed. I am really so excited that things are moving forward…and lots of thinking. You have been one of the quiet foundational pieces in this effort–your work does not go unnoticed!
Will this blog site become a link to the main HCoL site soon? I did not find it today…
The VERY best to you…Laura (Friedman)

Sam
Thanks so much for creating the Hawkins Centers of Learning blog – so exciting!
I have saved all of the reflections following the gathering in Kingston in a folder on my desktop – please help me post them on the blog as a way of leaving traces of our wonderful experience for others who are interested in the work of HCoL.
